Casual Kindergym Leader

Gymnastics South Australia is leading the way in promoting KinderGym to Councils, Early Learning Centres and families in SA.

GSA is calling for expression of interest from accredited KinderGym Leaders to assist and facilitate KinderGym programs, in particular “KinderGym on the Move”, on a casual basis.

At least 12mths experience working as a KinderGym Leader in a KinderGym program, a current WWCC, and a valid Technical Membership is essential. The role will require transporting some KinderGym equipment from the GSA office to various locations for some programs.

Flexibility during your week (Monday to Friday ideal) for current and future programs is required.

Club Engagement Coordinator


This engagement and development position will require a passionate and motivated individual to assist the growth and professional development of our gymnastics clubs and programs.

Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, you will be responsible for developing and fostering relationships with our member clubs and working with other departments to streamline education, event participation, affiliation, insurance, and utilisation of business tools to assist with club growth and professional development.

Hills Gymnastics Academy (HGA)

Gymnastic Coach - Part-time and Casual Positions 

Hills Gymnastics Academy is based at the Adelaide Hills Recreation Centre in Mount Barker.
HGA holds classes including Mini Gymnastics (4 years old), Recreational (Gymnastics for All, 5 years and above), Development, and Woman Artistic Gymnastics (Competitive Levels Gymnastics).
 
This is a great opportunity for a passionate and friendly coach who enjoys working with children and building skills in gymnastics and life. 
Immediate start available for suitably qualified person/s for permanent weekly shifts and casual fill in shifts. Delayed start an option for suitable but unqualified person/s while they undertake qualification completion or updates. Training costs may be covered for the right applicant.

The Role 
You will adapt lesson plans and coach a variety of gymnastics programs in a safe, positive and fun environment for participants. You will require a Gymnastics Australia Intermediate and/or Advanced Coaching accreditation. Deliver a high quality, safe, gymnastics class which sees the children progressing through levels and learning about gymnastics in a positive manner 

Provide support and information to children and parents where you can or advise where to get information and the support that they need. 

Opportunities to expand into Customer Service and Play club. Coaching Staff have access to AHRC Health club, Group Fitness classes and Casual court usage (Basketball, Squash, Badminton and Netball)

Dynamic Gymnastics Club 

Women’s Artistic Gymnastics

Casual Position – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday,


Hourly Rate: Based on the Fitness Industry Award MA000094 and level according to
accreditation.

Dynamic gymnastics club is one of South Australia’s oldest clubs, it has been in operation for
65 years, catering for gymnasts from the age of 4+ years. Dynamic has a recreational
gymnastics program and runs competitive Women’s Artistic Gymnastics.
We are seeking someone who has WAG Intermediate or above accredited Coach to help
coach recreational and competitive squads under the leadership of our head coach.
If you have experience in this field and this sounds like you, and you would like to help
young children (Athletes) to achieve their goals, This is a great opportunity for a passionate
and friendly coach who enjoys working with children and building skills in gymnastics and
life.

Essential Criteria

Role and ideal applicant
The coach for this position would be someone who is ideally a team person, who can
undertake instruction, work well on their own and deliver a programme that is set out for
them, as well as having the confidence to speak with parents. This position is identified as a
Child-Related position under the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998 and it
is a requirement to conduct a Working with Children Check on the preferred applicants.
