Current job title: Operations Manager, Centre for Cancer Biology

Bio: Russell is an accomplished and driven leader with proven management experience within complex and diverse environments. This is supported by postgraduate management qualifications, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to negotiate with and influence stakeholders across a variety of backgrounds and disciplines. Russell has 15+ years’ experience in sport management, working for peak sporting bodies in SA, Australia and the UK. He is currently responsible for managing the Centre for Cancer Biology, a world class Medical Research Institute boasting the largest concentration of cancer research in the state, currently hosting 22 laboratories and 200+ researchers.

Kent Davis
Current job title: Managing Director, Bespoke Investing

Bio: Kent brings to the GSA Board practical business operations expertise. As a business owner, board member and senior executive, he has a demonstrated history over a 25+ year career of driving organisational growth in such diverse industry sectors as retail franchising, property, venture capital and private equity. He has been involved with gymnastics as a parent for the last 6 years.

Noreen Gaudry
Current job title: Administration Manager

Bio: Noreen Gaudry is an experienced Program and Project management professional with a demonstrated history of working in both Retail and Event service industries. Having completed her Diploma of Accounting, Noreen moved into the home improvement sector, successfully running her own small business for over 30 years.  Noreen has over 20 years working and volunteering with the gymnastics community.

Megan Murphy
Current job title: Chartered Accountant

Bio: Megan is a chartered accountant with more than 15 years’ experience working in public practice. She brings a broad financial skill set to the Board of Gymnastics SA, including proficiency in finance management, management accounting, financial reporting, audit and business advisory services. Megan’s current role includes acting as the finance manager for a large incorporated entity, along with advising a number of small and medium businesses across a range of industries, including hospitality, retail and professional services. Megan was a trampoline athlete in her youth, and is now involved with the sport as an advanced silver level judge.

Kathleen Johnson
Current job title: Head of People and Culture

Bio: A highly experienced General Manager and HR professional with significant transformational and change leadership capability in the Retail sector. A strong ability to determine key people requirements within complex organisations and develop successful leaders. Excellent collaboration with business to design and implement cultural change and employee engagement. A proven ability to be effective at the highest levels in the organisation whilst building strong, capable and motivated teams.

Wallace Long
Current job title: Professional Services Marketing Director

Bio: Wallace joined the Gymnastics South Australia Board in 2017. He is Founder/Director of C2M Health, a Director of the not-for-profit BBM Youth Support and, is also Vice-President of the Sturt Baseball Club. As a marketing industry leader, he also sits on the Australian Marketing Institutes (AMI) South Australian Advisory Committee.

Skill sets: Business, strategy, marketing, communications and volunteering experience to the board
