2022 Education Conference – Wrap-up

South Australian gymnastics gets a lift from industry professionals. 
At the recent GSA  Education Conference, coaches were inspired by, and upskilled in their technical knowledge  though fantastic workshops  delivered by some of the industry's finest.
FIG International presenter and Keynote speaker Tammy Johnson was motivating with the importance of mentoring, Robert Hong - High Performance Coach from NSW delivered apparatus technique, Tanya Gibson expanded knowledge on advanced choreography for Rhythmic Gymnastics, Kylie Thomas presented athlete and coach workshops for Aerobics, National presenter Heather Mooney enthused the KinderGym community with music to promote motor development, Dan Lynch energised trampoline activities and Andrew Cordery explored tumbling skills.
Our guest presenters included physiotherapists Deane Stephens and Ben Frick with topics on preventing developmental injuries, youth strength training and the female athlete,Rebecca -Occupational Therapist and Ruhy - physiotherapist, from Therabees explored emotional regulation and motor development for pre-schoolers, plus Matthew Pearson provide valuable insight for the Special Olympics program.
Coaches can't wait to share their new knowledge with their community.
